Three National Freshmen of the Year (Sean Gilmartin, Florida State, Baseball; Paige Selenski, Virginia, Field Hockey; and Karrie Ellen Johnson, Maryland, Womens Lacrosse) and five National Coaches of the Year came from the ACC.
